Aloha. Welcome to the website for our hostel and inn on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are located in a beautiful rainforest approximately 1.5 miles from the most active volcano in the world - Kilauea Crater. And we are in the middle of Volcano, Hawaii - sometimes cited as one of the most beautiful villages in the U.S.A. Although most of our international travelers are solo or small group/family backpackers, campers, and adventurers, we can house larger groups up to between 25-30 guests (depending on sleeping arrangements) with advance notice.

In Hawaiian, "holo holo" means "leisurely journey", and this is the spirit reflected in the atmosphere of our casual hostel next to our home. Our hope is to provide the Holo Holo In as a mix of convenient location, a comfortable base and serene surroundings. In addition to our closeness to Mauna Loa, Kilauea, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we feature the following amenities:
